I started teaching children with Special Needs in 1997, specifically, children with multiple disabilities. I have taught children with vision impairment, physical disabilities, intellectual disabilities and behavioural difficulties. I also have specialized in children with Autism, Behavioural Difficulties and Down Syndrome. My brother was born with Down Syndrome and my family was heavily involved in disability and respite for over 40 years, so it was a natural career choice for me. After many years of teaching, I recognized the void that parents faced to find affordable assistance with behavioural issues or specific therapy in their home. This is why I created AB Consultancy to provide intense in-home support for families.

AB Consultancy has now grown to provide services from my office based at Victor Harbor to accomodate specific therapies and client privacy. I am also now able to offer support workers under the NDIS to provide supports to social outings and events for your child.
